Title: Shapeshifter Changelings?
Post by: SwampFox on <01-25-12/1837:13>
So, starting a new campaign, and we decided to crank the "freak-o-meter" all the way to 11.  The entire crew, with the exception of one player, are all former freaks from a Russian circus.  I'm planning on playing a Wolf shifter, but to spice things up a bit, he's also got the Changeling quality: Shiva Arms, which is in effect for both his human form and natural form.  So far I haven't found anything against it in Runner's Companion, but I thought I'd ask the experts if this is feasible or not.

RC p73 requires GM permission for a Changeling who is not a metavariant or standard metatype.

So it does.  Thanks Umaro.

Since you're all playing that kind of weirdness, I'm assuming permission has been obtained. That said, I'm pretty sure you're going to end up with Wolf that has 6 legs in animal form and 4 arms + 2 legs in humanoid form.

Since that seems to be what you're looking for, I call that an awesome idea.

Here's the general description for what he looks like:

He's 5' 3", 173 lbs and extremely stocky.  Has an extra set of arms in human form that sprout from his shoulders directly below the normal pair, which become a set of forelegs in wolf form.  Three eyes, with the third centered in his forehead in both forms.  His eyes are a uniform red with a slight glow, no pupil or iris visible.  Thanks to his heritage and being a triclops, his eyebrows form a unibrow in the shape of the Omega symbol.  Has a palpable aura of "danger" around him in both forms (Nasty Vibe).  In wolf form, he's a yard tall at the shoulder, and about 5 feet long, and his eyes retain the same coloring.
