Title: Pixie Drone Whisperer
Post by: Aria on <02-13-12/0841:38>
Partly as an experiment using Google Docs but mostly to get some feedback, here's my Pixie drone whisperer for your thoughts...I've spent a great deal of time working out her drones but that probably means I've missed something else vital  :P

<<Opium>> (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AnYw4d165IBNdDFsTzFCVm56QWc0dm9iTDAwRk9fb0E)

For reference, the Living Doll is based on the BustaMove, the Bobcat is a GM Nissan Doberman and the Camaxtli is a Steel Lynx with walker mode etc added

The main thing I would note is that you don't have Codeslinger (Control Device), and that would be enormously helpful to you as a command rigger.

I also would suggest that Electronic Warfare is really not that great. It's worth having, but you don't need to focus on it that heavily.

Also, Intuition is quite important for you (since it sets your initiative in VR), whereas Reaction is not particularly useful. You would be better off having more Intuition and less Reaction.

If my calculations are correct (and I'm not saying they are :P) I've got command loaded down already...specialisation, adept powers, commlink optimised for it and a Rt 6 program...I'm not saying it can't be higher but 19D+tacNET for an attack is approaching what I would be comfortable with as a GM.  Granted more defense would be useful...hmmm

The reaction though is right, she'll be in VR 90% of the time so it's not that useful!  Tweaking time :)

EDIT: Hmm, I think I might be counting two specilisations in the attack D, one for command and one for ballistics, that probably isn't allowed?!?

Oh, I just noticed that. Command is technically a legit specialization of Hacking but it would only help with Hacking+Command rolls, which almost never come up (I think it might come up if you hack into a node for a device, get an alarm sounded, and then try to Control Device it). You should probably pick a different specialization like Exploit or Spoof.

Shuffled things around as you suggested, codeslinger will correct my mistake on the specialisations...
