Any speculation on what he's up to now days? I'm thinking about running my players through Shell Games from JS and was wondering what everyone else thought about my favorite Prince-in-Exile.
-
Well, he took Samantha Roth under his wing after she discovered she'd been played by the New Revolution. He's also been involved in the Artifacts business, and in politics in Seattle. Probably also trying to get good with Tir na Nog, and work his way back to power in Tir Tairngir. Rest assured, Surehand's got several irons in the fire.

And of course that sure as Hell wasn't altruism on his part.
-
Of course he has an angle in doing that. He was the High Prince of Tir Tairngir for decades, and dealt with dragons on a regular basis, coming off even or ahead most of the time. Anyone who thought he didn't have an angle would also probably think that everything at Horizon really is just as it appears.

But it is ...

He is immortal. He lived for over 5'000 years. He's a powerful mage, a grade 10 initiate according to Street Legends. He manipulated entire nations to carve his own kingdom...
...in...
...wait...
...in Oregon!?! And he had to share power with half a dozen of his brethren, and a great dragon? And he had to leave!? Really guys, try New Jersey next time, easier target.
-
They had reasons for choosing Oregon.
1) Not as polluted as, say, the cesspool that is New Jersey.
2) Lots of mana lines.
3) It had been cleared out thanks to the war, and other things.
4) No one was really paying attention to it, since Denver, Seattle, and other such places were keeping everyone's attention.
5) The site of the old Blood Wood later got renamed Cherynoble.

If you believe that, I have some ocean front property in Arizona I'd like to sell you. Dirt cheap! :P

Well, technically you could, with a very high-powered telescope or other optical device. . .

Or just channel the spirit of a certain Alaskan governor.

Surehand used to be an adventurer, but then he took an arrow to the knee.
