Does this power only allow you to substitute 'A' for 'B' when making a test, or does 'A' replace 'B'?

I am specifically asking about the will to body one. Would this allow me to wear more armor or am I capped at my body stat? Does this change the number of physical boxes I have?

the RAW says, only for tests. Some groups consider this weak and use replacling.

As Makki says, by RAW, it is only for tests. If you wanted to houserule things, that's up to you.
