The Readers of Fate are a tradition made up of tarot readers. They believe that they draw their power from the weaving of fate expressed through their prized tarot decks. Foci and fetishes in the group tend to be tarot decks, but fate provides many items for the readers to enchant.
They have a close relationship to spirits, believing that each card is a spirit. As a tradition, they tend to not bind spirits because it is difficult, sometimes impossible, to bind fate. Many have mentor spirits based upon which card fate picks out for them. Now, this is not to say that readers of fate are slaves to fate. They have free will and can choose their own path in life. But, all readers believe that their Tarot decks, each with it's own personality, is a messenger between them and fate.
