Title: Karma Attribute Cost 3*x or 5*x?
Post by: Thrass on <03-22-12/1711:09>
In my runners Companion it says it's 3times the new value in Karma at Character creation,
but I heard about some Errata (that I can't find anywhere) that fixed it to 5 and Chummer has it at 5.

Is it officially erratad to 5? or is this just some more then widespread should be obvious printing bug and everyone mutually agreed that it should be 5 nonetheless despite a missing official errata?

It's in the German errata for Runner's Companion, and apparently in one of the newer printings. There's no English errata because                 .

I'm not actually sure - there's several german-speaking members of the boards though, so hopefully one of them can point you to it.

It's x5. The x3 is just because older core book used that, whereas SR4A core book increased it to the x5.

I can verify that the german runner's compendium in deed states x5.

It's integrated into the translated, German-language version of the book, IIRC.
