Title: [Resource][Spell] Magic Bullet / Magic Grenade
Post by: Lethe on <06-03-12/1629:20>
There is one important spell missing in the rulebook.
Something like powerbolt, but indirect: same DV.
Something like any elemental spell, but without the elemental effect: DV-2.
Something like the Clout spell, but with physical damage instead of stun: DV+1.

All versions point to the the same spell:
Type: Physical spell +1
Range: LOS +0 or Area + 2 or Touch -1
Duration: Instant +0
Combat spells: Physical damage +0

Mage Blade (Indirect)
Type: P • Range: T • Damage: P • Duration: I • DV: (F ÷ 2)
Magic Bullet (Indirect)
Type: P • Range: LOS • Damage: P • Duration: I • DV: (F ÷ 2) + 1
Magic Grenade (Indirect, Area)
Type: P • Range: LOS (A) • Damage: P • Duration: I • DV: (F ÷ 2) + 3
These spells hit the target(s) with concentrated kinetic force similar to a bullet, that inflicts Physical damage.
Magic Bullet affects a single target, Magic Grenade is an area spell. Mage Blade requires the caster to touch the target.

Edit: added Mirikons touch version

Type: P, Range: T, Damage: P, Duration: I, DV: (F/2)

I call my spell (which is identical to your magic bullet in the stat line) Shard, as it is a telekinetic knifing. The AOE isn't written yet, but it is probably "Shard Storm" or "Slice & Dice".

Another useful spell is a version of armor that doesn't freaking glow all over.

I suggest "Mince" and "Trauma Barrier" for those spells, respectively. ;)
