Up on the main page and already downloadable on your PDF-seller of choice.
I can't wait to crack this one open.

Still reading through it, but one thing definitely caught my eye: Rules for refitting Obsolete vehicles to bring them up to current specs! Pay somewhere around 25% of the base cost, and remove the Obsolete trait. Makes some of the drones in This Old Drone worth a second look...

I just snagged a copy a while ago, cool vehicles in it

Oh heck yeah. The only thing keeping some of the stuff in TOD from being the best available is that Obsolete quality.
Gonna have to take a gander at this now.

Don't have it yet, but I looked at the preview and saw my favorite SR3 bike, so I'll likely end up getting it at some point--and cross my fingers that the Prairie Cat made the cut.
Edit- Booyah! Oh hell yeah! Lots of vehicles I loved are back.

*Sighs* There goes the budget again.

Right there with ya, CanRay. If it'd been any higher priced, I'd have had to wait to grab it.

This is my favorite part of Used Car Lot, right here. Page 15, on the same page as the Gaz-Willies Nomad. Now I just have to wonder if you also have to pay the extra 10% on modifications after retrofitting...

The completely legal (not even R) vehicle with two weapon mounts was a good one too.
-
Yes, an avail 4 legal dune buggy with two manual weapon mounts, one turret and one flexible. For reference the turret itself is a 14F modification

Time to patch up the rust on my old Americar.
Loved seeing some old wheeled friends coming back. And updated art on them too, absolutely gorgeous. Now if we could just get the same treatment for the cars in the main book. (Comet, Nightsky and especially the Patrol-1)

To be fair, they're both essentially pintle mounts, not exactly high-tech items.
But, yeah, I'm willing to bet the Avail on that was not put in right.

Getting an existing vechicle modified to carry a weapon in a turret is a 14F. However, the Wuxing Crimson Samurai is 10R, even though it has a Normal, External, Remote Control Turret mount, a 16F mod. In other words, putting a pop-up turret on your Americar is a LOT different than getting a dune buggy used by the military which already had the mounts on there from the beginning.
Plus, there's the fact that the guns will be right out in plain view, which WILL make the Knights all kinds of interested in you.

Two rules of thumb when dealing with mass produced vehicles in Shadowrun:
1) The picture in the brochure does not always reflect the base floor model.
2) Vehicle "Modifications" don't have the same impact on a vehicle when they're not actual modifications, but are built into the vehicle at the factory.
