Exited military and went to college, followed by Corp work within security, which he hated with all his soul, though he had no real chance to escape it. Crash 2.0 erased everything he had, both good and bad. Used that chance to slip from Denver to Seattle and start a new life in the shadows. His resonance awakening hit a full year after he slipped to Seattle.

I don't think you're getting your money's worth out of that Cybercombat 4, at all. Sprite Link (Paladin) and better Compiling will help you "win" cybercombats way more effectively than Cybercombat 4.
You may want to wait until after chargen, but you should probably be getting some 'ware to make you better at fighting in the real world.

more ware: maybe after i've done something to increase my resonance score. am resisting getting too much bod ware that would kill my resonance score. though a corpse with good resonance is still a corpse.

Oh, I agree it's not worth losing a third point of resonance, but I think you can fit a bit better of a setup into 2 points.
I'm not a big fan of Math SPU; it's cheap, but it costs .15 cyberware essence that could better go elsewhere and it gives +2 to only some uses (and not even the most important ones, since you can always get a sprite to crack difficult encryption if you really need to) of one skill.
Encephalon 2, PuSHeD, and Cerebral Boosters 3 are all great (I'm assuming you are waiting to upgrade to alphaware cerebral 3 later on).
That's 1.2 cyberware essence and .56 bioware essence accounted for.
The other part of the "power trio" for logicmancers is to get a nanohive with Neocortical. I see you have the nanites, but you really want a hive and it can go nicely with some defensive boots. Since you're trying to do both combat and hacking, I'd be inclined to get your offhand a partial cyberarm with cyberarm gyromount, nanohive, and armor. That gets you a bit more defense, a bit more offense, and a situational but large boost to logic skills.
If you also had that alphawared (which may take some time to save for, because the nanohive is expensive), that's .36 more cybeware essence, putting you at 1.56/.56. At this point you probably want more bioware; you can fit in up to .3 more essence of bioware. I'd probably grab a Trauma Damper and a Reflex Recorder for your favoritest skill, then start putting money into the piggy bank for Adapsin and some deltaware.

my next upgrades to what i have would be beta enceph2 and cerebral boost 3 ( i thought cultured bio was as good as it can get, vs. alpha/beta/etc)
neglected to add on my cyber arm and it's toys, i will transfer that to the sheet and repost soon.

Looking more deeply at the Math SPU, I've got to agree that it may be a good idea to drop that one, as it doesn't seem all that worthwhile. Doing this combined with reducing that Encephalon to Rating 1 (would only lose 1 die on those affected skills) would save you .9 Essence and probably, as a result, put your Resonance back up to 5 which would in effect cancel out what you lost by downgrading the Encephalon.

Cultured/not cultured has nothing to do with grades; you can still get alpha/betaware cultured bioware.

Ooh...yeah, I just plugged his implants (didn't bother with the capacity additions to the arm) into Chummer and the suggestions I made would be needed to be right on the money to maintain a 4 Resonance.

I'd suggest getting Body Customization +2 on that arm, dropping the +2 Body Enhancement, and getting +2 Agility Enhancement.
I would also consider (but not outright recommend) the Bulk modification on that arm. It does have some drawbacks: it's extra-obvious, and it will fuck up two-handed tests. If you allow the optional rule that you can one-hand a two-handed weapon at -2, then you're still good enough with a HVBR (and the extra agility you can get is worth it). You may or may not care about having a oversized cyberarm on esthetic/makes you look weird grounds. It would also let you jam in another point of armor later down the road.

swapped +2bod enhance for +2 bod customized, already have both +3 agi enhance and +3 agi customized
as for the bulk mod, i can't find it on the XLS form i am using to make this guy, but i think i'd say no for aesthetics anyhow.
