Hello, I'm new to the boards, and while I tried to find my question on the website, DrivethruRPG, and the forums (granted, I didn't spend hours looking here), I am confused about the "new" core supplements.
I bought the original core supplements (minus Street Magic) a couple of years back and haven't really kept up with Shadowrun for the past few years. My friend is starting up a game and of course, I say, "Sweet! I have almost all of the core supplements as well as the Anniversary Rulebook!" Low and behold, I look at the sight and see these books with new covers.
My question is thus: Are the "new" core supplements just new covers? Are they updated book with errata? Or are they themselves new editions with tighter mechanics thus invailidating the older books I own?

Apologies, I mean't Core Rulebooks. Arsenal, Street Magic, Augmentation, Unwired, and Runner's Companion.

The short answer is that they are just reprints. I believe they are intended* to have the latest errata and such, but not major changes, and nothing you could not get with a copy of the errata and the original 1st printing of the books.
* Some 2nd or 3rd version reprints got the errata right, and added it in, some not so much.

Thank you! I appreciate it. :)
