So i got a guy who is making an Adept. Said Adept has Elemental Strike(Electricity), and for gear he wants to include either a stun baton, or a taser. Which is better? I assume taser is more efficient.

Tasers are legal to carry, but have a very short range category. They all have a small ammo capacity, usually 4 rounds.
If he decides a melee stun weapon is better, then opt for shock gloves or shock frills* instead of a stun baton; both use Unarmed Combat for the attack test and can discharge up to 10 times before their power source is drained.
* - Requires the nonconductivity armor modification to be used.
-
If he already has Elemental Strike for a Melee attack option I would go for a ranged attack to broaden his options. Being good at hitting people with your fists and doing electric damage and hitting people with an electrified club is kind of redundant.
Tasers are legal and that is nice. He could also chose and automatic of some kind and load it with Stick-and-shock.

Thanks for the input. I told him that a pistol with SnS or a taser would be better than any stun baton. Now i could use this as proof to my claim.
