so, the Skyswimmer zeppelin from Unfriendly Skies is called a light transport, giving it a passenger load of 2-4... it's also stated to be intended as a 'recreational vehicle'. I'm wondering what people think it looks like on the inside. Is it like a small Cessna, or more like a camper (it comes with Mid emeneties, like all of the ground RVs do).
-
Camper.
"Recreational Vehicle", at least here in the U.S., generally means just that.
Essentially, IMO the SkySwimmer was meant to be a flying RV.
-
I'll take two.

Too bad the Skyswimmer is juuust one Body too small to mount a Large Landing Drone rack.

Make sure to do it over International Waters! ;D

Why? If they catch me I'mma just do a skydiving check followed by a remote detonation of the blimp. Kaboom.

Right, that way the corps can just open fire and kill you without warning, and no one will care :) Of course, only if you have given them a previous reason to waste the ammo on you.
Oh, wait, they do that anyway wherever you are. My bad.

That's why your lab is actually the stealthed ruthium-coated capsule about 50 meters below the skyswimmer, with parachutes already rigged to go. That way when they blow the skyswimmer you're fine :)

And whoever shot it gets to deal with the fallout of a drug/demolitions lab landing in their front yard and exploding. Because we all know you'll jump out of the slowly descending capsule lab.

Who, the hell, just dropped, A BETAMETH LAB, on my front yard?
Who, I want to know. More importantly, Ms. Colt Government 2066 wants to know to voice her displeasure!

You, sir, get plus one.

I was actually thinking of using it as main residence for a free spirit; no need to keep it stocked with food, or to land to get in it; I can just fly up to it, and it'd be a pain and a half for anyone else to get to~
hmmm, though I just realized it'd take a fair bit of argueing to get my lodge in there... mostly from the screw-ass way that wards work. :P

One of the major interpretations, though, is that the anchor just has to stay static relative to the edges of the cabin (or, heck, the whole Zeppelin since the gas-bag is hollow), so it would work just dandy, the same as if a van had the inside locked down.
-
As there are set and "static" walls to anchor the Lodge, you should be able to do it. Like having one in the living space of an RV.
Especially if you're one of those tricky types of magicians that "Cheat", like Coyote Shamans. ;D

Just make sure and ward the balloon part or you could be susceptible to what I did to our GM. The Villain Du-jour was escaping on one of these so I had my fire elemental manifest in side the balloon and just burn it.
We didn't get any loot off the badguy, but I did get to flabbergast the GM.

That... would be a toss up as to whether I'd allow that as a GM... while Cosmo refers to it as 'blimp', and the picture seems to support this... could rule that it's still a zeppelin, like all the others, and thus that wouldn't work on it.
