Been building up to this one for quite some time in the game and it happened on Sunday night. this is a carry over from my runner campaign into my police campaign.
To make a long story short, the players have been tracking a serial killer of various criminals in job lots in Seattle referred to as 'The Locksmith', who had been tagged as such after leaving a laser etched key blank in the mouth as a 'death card'. normally the police put the priority for tracking someone like this somewhere around interrogating the local joy girls, but a few of the researchers in the magic department and observers had been noticing mana spikes in the areas that the criminals had been geeked in, making them worry about what sort of nonsense could come through if the local astral got thin.
Several adventures involving the Ork Underground, Thuggies, the Spirit of Seattle and Aztechnology, culminated in a messy firefight on the local Pyramid with blood spirits, the astral showing what the local Azzie astral really looked like, drones, Jaguar guards, and manifest Spirit of Kali, and a Thor Shot called down on the local Azzie Pyramid as well as the Central Pyramid in Aztlan. the Shot for Seattle was a relatively small one that level the building and some of the surrounding area. But azzie Central took a full blown Thor, so I'm trying to think of how hard a hit that would have been
Also considering the aftershock and effects. Suggestions?

A Thor Shot requires, IIRC, a two-thirds majority on the Corporate Court, so it had to be big enough to get that many votes. Moreover, attacking the corporate HQ is, for all intents and purposes, an Omega Order, which effectively means that, in your world, Aztechnology is going to die, and quickly. This will cost you the breadbasket of the world, and Aztlan will probably implode in short order into warlordism. Texas and the PCC are bound to make a land grab, while Amazonia will push north, seeking to scoop up everything until they hit sand. The Big Ten will become the Big Nine, and there'll be some tension as they shuffle around with their shiny new ex-Azzie assets and re-establish a pecking order.
You're gonna have a lot of work ahead, but also a ton of fun. :)

Considering their fanatical nature and capabilities I can definitely see retalitory strikes from Aztlan. Most capitals will probably get a present as will places like food production (it fits the state religion) basically it's pretty much a world changing event as WakShaani said. Your probably best served by doing a time jump and detailing how everythings changed to your players as they peek out of their hidey holes.

well to make it more interesting, I did a slight variation on the Stolen omega Order Codes that was in Cannon. It was the Mexican Resistance that got the codes and gave The Locksmith the ability to drop a very big rock. That and the came out over the Web in Voice format stating that they had cut the head off the Janugar and they would Free Mexico from the Mexica.
given how poorly that they average mexican gets treated by the Azzies out in the boonies.....they got a lot of recruits
