Title: A troll with glamour
Post by: Katrex on <11-04-12/2116:54>
Does anyone know how this would work fluffwise? I just cant see a 3 charisma troll moving with unearthly grace...

Its fluffable.  Every thing can be fluffy.  Maybe he just is not as "ugly" as other trolls, and maybe he looks very regal, like a knight in shining armor.

On page 51 of Runner's Companion, it talks about people being enthralled with dryads "even when, objectively, the dryad is aesthetically unremarkable."  So a troll with average (high for a troll) Charisma would definitely get the fluff benefits of glamour - maybe people would be likelier to describe him as "vibrant" or something rather than "graceful", but they would definitely feel the effect of the quality.

Well now ive got a character concept, Fomori knight of the round table, with glamour celerety and a giant claymore (maybe weapon focus) if only gryphon mentor spirit was more useful, that or wise warrior.

Fomori are also considered to be more baseline attractive than normal trolls.

Since glamour is somewhat magical, I'd describe being near a troll with said quality as feeling safe. Trolls are big, so he might just radiat a feeling of protection and safety.
