So, Chaos Mages are the 'unabashed technophiles' of the Sixth World, so that got me to thinking... what if one actually sidelighted as a hacker? So I present to you, a chaos magician hacker.

Why a hot sim module?
get your 4 ini passes with magic and hack AR... you don't get the +2 but you are wayyy safer and less attackable.

Because hacking in AR takes 5-15 times as long as hacking in VR.

No it doesn't.
There specific tasks that take longer in AR then in VR but that's stuff that you don't want to do in initiative phases anyway and you can easily go cold sim for them.

If I'm not seriously mistaken that is.

Slow hack anode in cold sim, change to AR and then enter it and do your combat. being immune to most IC makes up for it, that said you need hotsim to experiance ultraviolet nodes like, the nexus so its worth having,

Looks really good to me! Nice idea :) The only thing I would say is that "Area Knowledge" seems quite broad. I would make it more specialized :)

Unless I'm mistaken, you're running a commlink with response 5 & system 6, which limits your system (and therefore your programs) to 5.

Very true. I would have my take my important hacking skills at 5 andthe rest at 3 my common skill at 6 with optization option.

Also non-standard wireless interface at high levels to make my primary comlink harder to detect by signal scanner.
