Title: Recreating Characters from the old novels
Post by: Hellion on <12-04-12/1847:21>
Hey guys
i just spent a couple of days reading through my old novels, and i was wondering what ppl think... What would it be like to recreate some of the old characters. Specifically the Wrecking Crew and Raven, Wolf and Kid stealth. Any suggestions ????

Kid Stealth gets his eponymous legs, for one.

yes those legs are very vividly described in wolf & raven, and i'm pretty sure it mentions that they are interchangeable, and that he has an internal airtank, and also seems to imply that he also has a cyber arm, but other than that there isn''t all that many details...... i find it the same almost lack of detail about raven, and many of the other characters.

thats the main problem i have with the other characters i mentioned, (aside from argent and wolf) very little detail on any of them.....but they sound so cool and interesting

PS I love the Street Legends Series.... maybe ya could do one for the old characters for shadowrun 2050 ????

Gotta admit, I definitely put a bit of thought into re-creating Molly Millions from Neuromancer.

Striper would be nice to have stats for... Or Dirk Montgomery, the man with the thousand contacts ;)

if i knew of a thing beyond FUBAR thats what i call it.... i really am not so worried about my shadowrun stuff which is really quite easy to replace, its the complete collection of old battletech novels & complete recreation of Wolf's Dragoons Alpha regiment (all hand painted and assembled by me) that i will miss the most. Its what got me into role playing and table top gaming in the first place.

Ouch. Just... ouch. I hope everyone was alright, and that the insurance is at least covering the replacement value if you manage to hunt down another set.

yeah the insurance has already told me they will cover the value.....  Of what the figures were worth when i bought them not the inflated price that i have to pay now..... but i'm kinda hoping there is somewhere i can buy the novels as epub\s coz i didn't manage to leave my Ipad in the house, had to take that to my mates place to show him a lovely app i have so that was spared. the other thing i'm wondering have all the books for shadowrun been released as pdf's ????

actually the RBB's have been released but as their individual componant parts, novels, not so much, just a few. you might be able to get most of the BT novels E-pub, but i wont swear to it.

Well, I was more talking about the 'extra stuff' that's supposed to be in them.
