SO, I think the last books I read were the Horizon missions, which means I am WAY behind in my current events. Anyone want to help me brush up on what's recently happened in the Sixth world and to our favorite Jackpointers?

Long story short, everything's gone batshit crazy.
Ghostwalker is back, and told everyone that he was pissed that people were trying to renegotiate the treaty for HIS city. Harlequin is pissed at Ghostwalker because the ritual that closed the Watergate Rift killed Aina (except it might not have), and is getting an army together to march on Denver. The Azzies might run out of food thanks to Sirrurg. The dragons are fighting eachother, which is causing all kinds of troubles. And that isn't even touching on the fact that Pax is still alive and well and causing trouble as normal, or any of the other fun and games with technomancers and free spirits attacking Horizon.
-
Pax is causing a degree of trouble a few steps beyond her normal flavor, given that she's going around turning any AI she can get her mitts on into a rampaging dissonant horror-beast.

Oh, and of course the megacorps are still doing horrible things. NeoNET and EVO are doing experiments on e-ghosts. Mitsuhama is ripping technomancer's brains out of their bodies and sticking them in jars to use them as 'living IC'. Ares is becoming an insect hive. And Aztechnology is still Aztechnology.

And the scariest one of all this is still that Aztechnology is still Aztechnology ...
Though I believe Evo's e-ghost experiments were discovered by Buttercup and shut down - or if they haven't been, there's jockeying for power to shut it down, along with other things.
-
Buttercup discovered the e-ghost experiments, and the fun with Justice Hino, and had them shut down, I believe. She's also making sure that the CEO learns his lesson.
As for the Azzies, yes, they're still the same as ever, and if you had to guess anywhere that the Horrors would come through early, Aztlan looks the most promising place. I would just like to have the Smoking Mirror revealed at some point, as well as the Name of the Corrupted eastern dragon that was spotted landing on the pyramid in Tenochtitlan. If, for instance, it was one of the ones that Verjigorm caught...
Yeah, I've said it once, and I'll say it again, the best thing people could do for the Sixth World would be to Thor shot Aztechnology off the map.

I think he will just assume the name Tezcatlipoca!
