Title: What's the benefit of Dream Pact?

I'm not sure what the real benefit of this is to the character?

The only thing I can think of is that some characters might prefer being ambulatory to the more helpless state of sleeping.  But to me, letting a being possess your body, and do conceivably anything with it, while you don't even remember any of it - is far more dangerous.  It is slightly more plausible that someone would offer a free spirit a dream pact in order to entice some other favor from the spirit.

The only practical application of this I have seen is when we had two flaky players, one played the free spirit, the other was the actual metahuman.  Since only one tended to show up, justifying it was a breeze.

Of course, use of tempo could inflict a dream pact on the person, allowing the shadow spirits that were the source to play out in the world.
