This is my attempt at making use of the Mind Over Matter adept power. I know some things are bad choices (two gun skills, maxed Magic, and the custom Comm), wondering if there's anything else that stands out as something that could be improved on. My adept powers come out to much more than 5PP from having Geasa on each of them.

== Background ==
Tali Yahalom was born in Israel in 2041. She lived a fairly normal life, or what passes for one when you grow up in a country at constant war. Her family was devoutly Jewish, like most citizens of Israel. Her parents were killed by anti-Israeli terrorists when she was just 17. The next day MOSSAD, the Israeli intelligence agency, arrived to ask her about what she knew about what happened. She told them she didn't know anything except that they were acting strange when they left that night. As the investigation went on, she was kept informed of what they found. Tali asked to be trained so she could help bring her parents killers to justice. At first she was refused, but eventually the Director of the agency agreed to let her join MOSSAD and train, if she agreed to not participate in the final stages of the investigation and let the fully trained handle it.

As much as she hated the idea, she agreed to the Director's compromise, knowing she'd be able to save other girls from what happened to her. She trained for nearly an entire year before being named a MOSSAD Officer, learning to use both pistols and automatic weapons, and also training extensively in Krav Maga and unarmed combat. Other parts of her training involved learning multiple languages, the art of negotiation, and she was found to be Awakened. She was trained to harness her magical energy to improve her body. She focused heavily on enhancing her hands and feet, improving her unarmed combat to an amazing level for a human, and making sure she always had a deadly option even if she had no guns.

The Director, Yusef Mekel, treated her with great compassion. Through the years, they developed a relationship much like a father and daughter. He trusted her with many sensitive missions, but she was always best at assassination of Israeli enemies and extractions of Jews who wanted to leave their country but were kept from leaving by their government or military. During the madness of the Crash of '64 she set a record number of aiding in successful Aliyahs, (Jews returning to Israel). She worked for MOSSAD for about 10 years, when in the summer of '68 MOSSAD began following the same terrorist group they had thought wiped out after they killed Tali's parents. Tali made sure that Director Mekel assigned her to these operations. The missions lead them to many different leads in many different countries. Director Mekel decided that in order to pursue the group most efficiently, he needed officers with complete autonomy. To this end, he assembled a group of his five most trusted agents, Tali included, and briefed them on a deep cover operation that would send them deep into the shadows. They were to do whatever it took to bring the organization down, and shadowrunning would be one of the few ways to make sure they had the autonomy needed, while finding contacts and information at the same time. Each of the five was given a highly encrypted and firewalled commlink with only one contact in it, the Director's, to be used only in emergencies or to update him on the status of the operation.

For five years Tali has worked in the shadows, while also still aiding other Jews in their Aliyah. This led her to use Aliyah as her runner name, finding it fitting not only for helping the others, but also in anticipation of when she could return home. She has brought many members of the terrorist group to justice, but she knows many more remain, and she has recently been hearing rumors of something dreadful happening in the Middle East.

Trying to understand why you don't want Improved Ability for your main combat skill...  And, for that matter, why you don't want a rank 6 or two rank 5 active skills.

I think mostly because I'm trying to spread myself to thin. Been considering dropping one of the gun skills to pump into other skills. And for imp skill, I was trying to get a little more versatility out of the build instead of just combat heavy, though I might drop my negotiation, since its very low for the amount I invested in it (16bp+ about .5PP(another 5ish bp))

Dropping neg wouldn't be a terrible idea to get the BPs to bump your combat skill. I think you're group's face should be able to handle the negotiation tests for the most part. Or drop it to 1 for one and build it over time if you really want to.

Given that:

- Drop Improved Reflexes to 1.
- Nix Penetrating Strike, you don't need it for now.
- Reconsider whether Nimble Fingers is worth it
- Nix Improved Hardware and Negotiation
- Pick up Kinesics
- Get an Improved Combat Ability, lets say Unarmed
- Drop First Aid, Hardware, Medicine, Perception, and Pistols to 1.  Increase Unarmed to 6 or Automatics to 5.

Should at least be a start.  Negotiation is probably not the right choice of social, though - Etiquette would be wiser.

Will do Shadow, i've never been sure how much to buy (especially for burst fire/full auto.) And I've always been under the impression that bought ammo came with clips, have I been wrong this whole time?

Considering you will usually be firing 2 rounds per pass with your pistol, and most combats don't last more than 2 full turns, I'd say 100 rounds will be more than enough for your pistol. The assault rifle is trickier to guage since it does have FA as an option. You might not get to use it in some situations so I would think that 250 rounds would be ideal. You can always stock up later if needed. Hopefully, anyway :P

New version. Took out negotiation and pistols skill, dropped DocWagon to basic. Added extra skills and changed around adept powers. Bought an SMG instead of a pistol, added a vehicle, changed lifestyle, added clips and licenses.

Max usable rating for Improved ability is 1.5 x Current Skill, round down.  Thus, 2.  If you were to take 3 total ranks off of Critical Strike and Enhanced Perception, you'd have enough to grab something like Kinesics or another ability-broadening power (or, for that matter, a second Improved Combat ability or Combat Sense).  I'd suggest, still, that if you're going for versatility you really, really should know Improved Reflexes down to 1.

Also, I highly suggest making sure your GM is okay with you having those contacts at that loyalty rating or at all.

The second contact is supposed to be an enemy, forgot that Chummer lumps them together for some reason. He okayed them both though.

She is still meant to be combat focused, just not a one trick pony, so I'm going to keep Imp Ref 2, but I'll reduce Automatics by one to bump H2H so my third Imp. Ability rank isn't useless, forgot about the 1.5x limit. I did drop Nimble Fingers and a rank of Critical Strike for Quick Draw.

Well, between specialization and smartlink, that would put you at 16 on firing your primary gun, and about 19 on Unarmed Combat if you grab the wonderfully nebulous "Martial Arts" specialization - certainly respectable.
