What happened to magical guard?

Topic says it all.  Was this considered over powered?  A little extra spell defense doesn't seem to be that bad, so why did it go the way of the dodo?

Yeah, if you like it, it is pretty easy to add from 4. We have a lot of carry over. Basically, anything that isn't out yet, we tinker with to fit into S5.
