Our team was lucky to emerge from last run naked and bloodied, but with our lives. Thing is, we had to leave all our gear behind. Now, in the market for two new sets of armor.

1. Something heavy to take as much punishment as possible. Was thinking SWAT with auto-injectors, perhaps gel packs as well. This is for those drek-has-hit-the-fan extractions under heavy enemy fire.

2. Something built to optimize stealth. Thinking Sleeping Tiger with maxed out Ruthenium Polymer Coating. Our adept has been using a Chameleon suit, and it's just not cutting it anymore.

Open to suggestions. Cheers.

Why not both in one armor?

You can't go far wrong with a full body armor, helmet, gel packs + riot shield
If you can afford RPC add it to the armor with thermal dampening. The helmet has enough room for an autoinjector.

Full Body Armor                     17
   +Chemical Seal
   +Gel Packs
   +Nonconductivity 6
   +Ruthenium Polymer Coating 4
   +Thermal Damping 6
   +YNT Softweave Armor
   +Miniwelder
Full Body Armor: Helmet             3
   +Auto-Injector
Riot Shield                         6

Cost: 38.750 NY, Availability 18

Add a few mods to the helmet to make it an even 40.000

Jack_Spade, cheers. Nice load out. And why not both in one?
The thermal dampening plus smoke grenades make for a nice escape tactic.
Thanks Omae. Much appreciated.

Add better quality ruthenium polymers. You can't get stealthier than that, and it's not bulky, heavy, or clothing with parts to catch or brush on whatever you're sneaking past.

Do you have access to milspec armour? Security Armour? Well, after that Full Body Armour or SWAT armour come third place. Everything but basic FBA has Gear Access, which is quite useful as armour qualities go.

Gear access is nice, but restricted movement is a big no-no.

Restrictive is something you have to plan around, true. It's time to let the rigger chauffeur you about, or have the mage finagle a Spirit's Movement power onto you. To some degree that's true, even of FBA. High exertion or extremes of weather aren't really your thing after you go for heavy armour.
