Hoi there chummers! I've got an announcement to make!

https://youtu.be/uM3qtJvK99g

So, over the months I’ve gotten lots of great feedback and suggestions from all of you, my viewers. Lots of stuff from new types of informational videos to do, great entertainment ideas, podcasts, actual plays, etc… Up until now I’ve always just sort of added those ideas to a list of “Things to do one day…”

Well… I’ve decided that, instead of waiting for time to free itself up, I want to take a more active effort to make some of these awesome new ideas happen!

PATREON! - https://www.patreon.com/ComplexAction

To that end, I’m starting up a “Patreon Drive”, of sorts, to inspire the support I need to reach some exciting goals for the channel. I’ve revamped the Patreon rewards to be more interesting, obtainable, and inclusive. Here are some of the immediate goals I’m trying to reach:

**A New Actual Play!**
I’ve gotten a lot of requests to do a new Shadowrun Actual Play, and so I want to make that happen! I want this one to be really exciting and different for people. It will take place in a location that I will decide on which has not be described before. Me and my players will build it from the ground up, and we’ll even involve the community in helping us world build! I even have the ambitious goal of blackmailing some of the other Shadowrun podcasters and creators out there to guest on the show!

**Weekly GM Screens!**
If I can get enough support, then I can afford to be able to crank out a new GM Screen episode EVERY SINGLE WEEK! This is something that would benefit all of us. It’s my most popular show, and I am REALLY itching to get more out to you guys.

**New SR-101 GM Screens!**
I’ve got a cool idea for a new GM Screen style series that would serve as a sort of “course” or “tutorial” series to show people how to play Shadowrun or how to play different archetypes. Imagine showing a new player the “Magic 101” series which would be a series of short videos in the GM Screen style which would assume NO prior knowledge of Shadowrun. Once finished, the viewer would be ready to play a Magician in Shadowrun!

There are a lot more really cool things that I’d like to get started, but these are the first few that I think we can start to work toward.

So… watch the video. If you’ve ever enjoyed the stuff that I make over at Complex Action, then consider becoming a patron and helping support these new shows and goals.

And thank you all SO much for all the moral and emotional support you’ve given me so far. I wouldn’t do this without you guys!

Gotta say, your recent run of Matrix GM Screens is a pretty good start on Decker 101...

Thanks! Yeah, that's the sort of thing I'm going for. Except, I'd love to be able to spend more time creating links and threads to a ton of videos that cover all the little basics and ins-and-outs of those sorts of topics.

Perhaps something you might consider is a Basics and Advanced set.

Basics pretty much only covers the core book + errata. Useful for players(and GMs) just starting to get into Shadowrun.

Then for Advanced start looking at the other books. So for example Decker 101 Basics programs would cover the simple programs in the core book, but the Advanced section would cover the more nuanced programs from Data Trails.

Ooh, that's an amazing idea for how to structure the content!
