After all, if you look at some of the tv shows and movies that (sort of) exemplify Shadowrun, how would you describe them? Take Leverage, for example. That show trends toward black trench, but it has it's pinker moments. The A-Team is fairly pink mohawk, but it has it's blacker moments. Kill Bill is such a mix, you kinda have to describe it scene by scene. So if those are the examples we have to personify the world of SR, where does the actuality fall? I submit that answer is individual to each GM, and each GM can mix and match as needed without breaking continuity, as long as the players can follow the action/story.
