Ferret Adept for PlayByPost

Hi.  I'm making up a character to toss into the ring for play-by-post/bulletin board play.

She is an adept following the ferret spirit.  Right now I am working on tweaking out skills and thinking of what she needs.  Main attacks are going to be pistols/automatics possibly w/Firefight Martial Art.   I have a few concerns.

The first is would Astral Perception be worth it for her?  She has 3 charisma and 3 willpower so it isn't her specialty.  Still being able to see Astral is a plus.

The second is having enough points for skills.  I originally started off with the idea of running with a PC that had maxed out edge.  I need to give her enough skills to be useful.  After Attributes and qualities she has 120 points for skills/gear/contacts. 

Looking for advice.

  She's known as being a Saeder-Krupp schill.  Haveing worked with the corp steadilly in the past.  However, her contact with the corp was killed in a hit at which she was present and subsequent contacts have dried up.  It wasn't her fault but she still takes much of the blame.  She didn't know the sniper was there.

  Alice had a romantic relationship with her SK contact.  Never even having learned his real name she allowed herself to get in bed with SK in more ways than one.  She knows that he liked to record things and suspects that he had files of their relationship stored somewhere.

If you've got someone else that can see on the Astral, I wouldn't worry about it. 

I'm assuming the character's still a work in progress, since there aren't many skills listed with ranks?  You're right that it'll make you stretch a little thin, trying to be an Adept and have a maxed Edge and still make someone halfway well-rounded...but it's doable, depending on the general power/threat level of a campaign, and expectations where die pools are concerned.

You have a lot of ranks in the adept power "flexibility". So much so that I am thinking it is a RP thing you are going for.
If you are not totally attached to 6 levels of flexibility, that may be a spot where you can find some extra PP.
Losing 2 levels of flexibility will get you an extra dice with your primary attack skill, or some extra infiltration dice.
Losing 3 levels will get you an extra point of Agility.

And good job on grabbing combat sense. That is an awesome adept power.
