I imagine I will get some flak for this but I want to see a bad ass gungan in the new series. Somebody that makes people go "Yeah that Jar Jar guy was an annoying pest but THIS guy... This guy is awesome." I mean he is the only alien other than Chewie (and that speaks basic (english to you non star wars people.)) that spends any serious time on screen for multiple movies and he is at best a nuisance. Hell I would be happy to see more aliens and get to know them. We always see them in the background or for maybe a whole scene but they never take a prominent role in the movies. Show me that sneaky and shady Bothan, that laid back Durros, that loyal and brave Twi'lek and a that analytical Sullestian. In short make the aliens more than just window dressing and sidekicks.
Maybe it is just my inner roleplayer coming out but the star wars movies are like a bunch of 13 year olds playing D and D. All "me but bad ass" humans and the one guy who wants to try something else and is promptly shoved in the figurative corner.
