SR4 Is compiling/registering a Matrix test?

SR4 Is compiling/registering a Matrix test?

Hot sim says to give you +2 on ALL matrix tests, so I was curious if Technomancers (said to be on hot sim) receive this bonus on compiling/registering tests and/or fading as a result.

It doesn't seem like fading would, but I could see arguments where compiling/registering would be.

Fading is damage resistance, so not a matrix test.

Compiling is listed as a Complex Action in the Matrix Action list.

Technomancers dont get the hot sim bonus as it is included in their matrix stats already. I'm AFB atm but its in the technomancer section about stats in SR4A

It's already calculated in their response and initiative, but not the +2 bonus to matrix actions. See The Living Persona section in SR4A, p239.
