So, I broke out my old copy of the novel Wolf and Raven today.

Got me thinking: Doctor Raven, at least, is an elf and should be kicking around somewhere in SR.

I know Wolfgang Kies showed up in The Terminus Experiment and Kid Stealth's deinonychus legs got some play in SR3's Man and Machine.

Have they shown up anywhere else? I imagine they've ended up as casualties in the intellectual property mexican standoff that is our beloved Shadowrun.

But who doesn't want magic elf Doc Sampson running around Seattle buggering villainous plots?

Raptor legs got another run in SR4 (Augmentaion from memory, and the satyr legs metagentic gave the possibility of having fleshy ones as well!!)

Wolf, Raven, Kid, "Zig" and "Zag" were also featured in the Shadowrun story anthology "Into the Shadows." towards the end of the stories.

Into the Shadows is a good book which features writing by Nigel Findley, Tom Dowd, Nyx Smith, and Michael Stackpole.  I'd love to see more of Doc Raven personally.  He always seemed like the Professor X of the SR Universe.

Right! But they're unbranded, so I hesitate to count them. >_>

I'll keep that in mind. Been meaning to pick up Into The Shadows anyway. Thanks for giving me another reason.

Threadcromancy,  the newest school of magic.
Sorry I was looking up something & came across this & figured its as good a place as any to ask this question.

Has there ever been a picture of Doc Raven anywhere?
I know sort of what he looks like, when I first read the book it made me think they were describing my SR1 character.  (Elf-Amerind Combat-Shaman)
But I was wondering if there was ever a picture/artwork done of him.

That whole crew had great character, I'd love it if Stackpole ever wrote some more Wolf/Raven stories.

Speaking of crews, I always liked the group on the cover of Fields of Fire, change the girl to a guy & it would be close to my SR1 group.

As far as I understand it, Mike Stackpole's material is off-limits to everyone but Mr. Stackpole.
