So I have a player who took the latent dracomorph quality. They returned to the game after a break and we decided that it activated during a botched medical procedure over their hiatus. Since the character is in negative karma debt, I've decided they're hunted now, by more than one group.

Who (factions/corps/dragons?)  would you have trying to get their hands on, or maybe "help" (manipulate) a confused new drake in Seattle?

If you really wanted to throw her for a loop, make her a True Drake—everything she thinks she knows about her past is a lie because she was actually "born" a couple of years ago.

Generally speaking, the type of dracoform she is will probably determine the dragons involved. Given the complexities of the world now and that loyalty is more fluid, that's not a concrete rule, but it's easier to manage.

Officially, the Draco Foundation has a program to assist new drakes that is by all accounts and appearances on the level. Since they have an office in Seattle and their drake operations are based out of Lake Louise, which is relatively nearby, there's a good chance they would get to the drake first. That said, the Draco Foundation's relationship with drakes is more complicated behind the scenes than is generally known, even in the shadows.

There's also DIVE, which is just a bunch of metahumans interested in draconic affairs. That said, they're funded by dragon hunters. So your drake may end up becoming a test subject, target practice, or sleeper agent to use against one or more Great Dragons if she ends up dealing with them.

Ghostwalker considers North America his domain, and with Hestaby in exile, he considers any and all dracoforms on the continent to be his dracoforms. He would by now probably have agents or proxies everywhere the Draco Foundation is, so he may find out about the PC before they do. The DF can let her know that she can refuse to accept Ghostwalker as her master, which would make him an Enemy for certain, although not necessarily a lethal one. He'd do everything to make her think she needs him.

Aztechnology is on a big pro-metahuman angle and that means they're sort of anti-dragon, officially. That said, they also employ dracoforms, and that would include drakes. Of course, a drake not willing to work for them can otherwise be useful as a blood magic sacrifice.

The Black Lodge and some Tír Tairngire expats may find her useful as a weapon or target, like the dragon hunters.

There are also two Adult Dragons in Seattle, Urubia and Kalanyr, and they would be interested in her because having a drake is basically a big deal even among the Great Dragons.
