Control Rig Booster and Optimization both say "+1 die to vehicle tests while jumped in." and it also says "does not apply to vehicle skills" now i could be wrong (and this is why im asking you lot) but am i understanding this correctly that:

Tests are any and all tests that are performed while jumped into the vehicle/drone?

or is it

any test that uses the vehicles or any sensors/equipment attached to the vehicle  limit(s) in the test?

or is it

a specific set of skills. (doubtful)

Also, in the Complementary genetics portion of the book, it says

The downside of these augmentations is that the
cyber or bioware associated with the complimentary
genetics becomes more integral to the body systems,
and thus harder to remove or replace. Doing so costs ten
percent of the initial cost of the cyber or bioware.

but when looking up the cost of a Control Rig (43,000 nuyen) and looking at the price for the Control Rig Optimization (4,600 nuyen) that 10% number doesnt match up. is this a spot for the eratta? or as none of the other prices jive with this stated 10% cost, is it thought that it costs 10% plus a nominal fee and therfore the table should be changed to reflect that? altho the formula would be rather long at that point: Cost: (43,000*10%)+XXXXX nuyen. however that would make more sense as far as the fluff goes.

If it says tests with vehicles then it means piloting gunnery sensor tests

Basically it's a dice pool modifier, not a skill level modifier.

So if you're actively using the skill as intended, you get the bonus, if you're using it as a knowledge check or something like that, you don't get he bonus.

It appears that 10% is if you later need to remove or replace that cyberware, it's not part of the initial purchase/install costs.
