Nova Crimea is located east of the Dnieper River, and is considered a "Free state" from the Russians who hold a majority of what was once Ukraine, and while it encompases what was once a series of cities and villages is now considered a sprawl city.

Nova Crimea is controlled by a faction system with the Tribunates (Princes of the City) Prometheus, The Lord Imp and Preacher holding sway over large voting blocks and swaying the Oligarcs of the city with those political blocks. The Prometheans belive that war with Russia is not a matter of if but when and constantly urges insurgent acts in the region while The Preachers block urges reunification with Mother Russia, Finally Lord Imp Urges a Union between Nova Crimea, Elroheim (The Elven nation that sits where souther Ukraine once was on the Black Sea) and Orzakstan (the Muslim Orc country which is what once was Moldova and Romania) and a push against Russia to push them out of Ukrain.

Lord Imp and Prometheus oppose one another on the basis that Imp belives that as Crimea is now a majority Meta, specifically Dwarven, community and that as such Metas should have a larger say in the community while Prometheus is set on the regional Tribunate system which favors cities (which have higher concentrations of Humans then metas due to a racist past in the region that pushed metas from the cities into outlying communities) over actual census count.Preacher opposes both Beacuse he thinks all metas should be deported, or exterminated and that Nova Crimea should rejoin the Soviet Block.

In Nova Crimea there is no Lone Star, or outside Megas permitted, this is due in equal parts Crimean opposition to to those institutions as it is due to Russian embargos against Nova Crimea, Elroheim and Orzakstan.

Elrohiem is a bit of a European/ Tir enterprise in an attempt to stall Russian aggresion in the region and to establish yet another Rleven State.

Orzakstan is the result of a grand exidous from the middle east, where metas, most notably Orks and Trolls, being slaughtered in the thousands, fleed north trying to enter europe and the Balkins found they were not welcome and as such carved out their own homeland.


Please help me add to this and make it more lore friendly.

I want to say hobgoblins are the middle eastern variant of orks.  They may be dominant in orzakstan as refugees from other middle eastern states.

I’m not clear – are you adding more depth to quick sketches in one of the SR books, or are you creating your own version of things?

Im making this up as I go. I did research to see where there are gaps in SR lore because I had this annoying prick who kept on about this and that arent lore, so I decided to look for a place that was a black hole of lore.

That being said id like to keep the place close to lore. Example I didnt know that the middle east was mostly hobgoblins so thank you for that, I will amend that to Orzakstan.

Middle eastern orks aren't mostly hobgoblins, but hobgoblins are mostly middle eastern (or balkan or central asian).

That said, "Hobgoblins all over western and central Asia have been showing support for an ork nation in the Mongolia region" (Run Faster, 91).

In Earthdawn, the Crimea was surrounded by the Scarlet Sea on one side and Death's Sea on the other.  I think both were seas of lava and harvested for elemental fire.  Prometheus is also called Fire Bringer because he introduced fire as a tool to mankind.  I can definitely see a long heritage going back thousands of year in the Prometheus line. 

It was said that Death was imprisoned beneath Death's Sea and that is why people healed as fast as they did in the Fourth World.  There was also a group known as the Keys of Death who believed that if enough blood was spilled Death would be released. Obviously,  Death was eventually released but that was off screen.  But it does present an opportunity for a deep cult of death and a cult of jailers.  Neither one of them is truly in the right.  However, all the Prometheans should believe that the Seas are their birthright.

Thats great stuff ill have to work that in with some changes. In my version of things, Prometheus is called such because in a the inital wars for Crimean independence the Russians had seized several power plants and he and his brigades forced the russians out, thus returning light to Crimea, however theres a lot in what you said I like as well, so ill have to mull that over.
