I'm looking to create a Roto-Drone in 3D and I need reference images.

Does anyone have any reference images? Particularly from various angles?

I've found various pictures online, so I'm not sure which one is correct.
I've attached one from the SR5 core book (p. 263) And linked a few other pictures.
Which of these is actually correct (as of SR5)?

I'd say they're all available in-setting, and may even all be different models of MCT NIssan rotodrones.

The Roto-Drone is a simple, no-nonsense rotor-wing drone design that is highly modular and customizable.
You may not be able to get a definitive answer.

So just ask my player for his favourite design and use that?
The rotor near the top/at of the body seems to be the most common configuration.

Yeah. The one that doesn't fit seems to be from Frontline: Fuel Of War.

If you look at Core pg 462, there's a sidebar that lists alternative vehicles that would use the same stats as vehicles already in the book. For instance, you can take all the same numbers as a Rover 2072, scratch out the name, and pencil in Ares Humvee instead.

In an instance like this, I'd treat it the same way. Depending on how the player wants their drone to look, it's going to operate the same way regardless. So whether they buy the officially licensed MCT Roto-drone (which near as I can tell, these days usually looks like your motorcycle pic, or the one beneath it) or maybe they buy the Ares VTOL-drone (your pic #2 under the playing card) instead. Personally, that's my favorite. I like the VTOL look instead of the propellers sticking out. This is 2075 after all, why does it still look like what the 80's thought "the future" would look like? =)

Another pic I always think of is the Probe that came out of the old Viper TV show.

The Matrix is everywhere. It is all around us. Even now, in this very room. You can see it when you look out your window or when you turn on your television. You can feel it when you go to work…when you go to church…when you pay your taxes.

It occurred to me this morning that the second image with the two rotors a tail rotor is the one most likely to actually fly since the others have no anti-torque features.

Then again, it's Sci-Fi, so Rule of Cool applies.

I think that one seems the most feasible, also, because it makes sense to me that they would have at least some minimum covering over the propeller blades, both to protect others and to reduce the chance of flying crap getting jammed in there.

I'm quite sure that the one on your last Pic was valid in last Ed (up until December 2074)
So maybe You'd take this one ?
