Tomorrow ill be joining new group because their last mage player was THAT GUY and literal king of the edge who just fucked up their game for fun/shitty angsty roleplaying(also he wanted to name his character sasuke...) and i want to fill position of mage.
Team consist of street sam, bioware melee adept, combat decker(more combat than decking) and decker/rigger(more decker than rigger) and Face/combat adept. Gm said they play more tactical combat oriented game :more fights/shadowruns vs gangers/syndicates/powerplayers not connected with megas.
So i decided to create my first battlemage character without any gun/melee skill(for the challenge/fun), i want my character to be guy obsessed of trids where magician are moving down whole armies by magic only(like harlequin).
GM told me to use sum to 11 and i can initiate 1 time(cant take quickening)
