Sum to 10, nothing special. Meta A, Magic A, Skills C, Stats E, Resources E, used chummer. So what do you guys think. Used Amnesia so I would have extra karma, plus it would be fun to have to deal with not knowin what my GM (who is actually really good) would pick as knowledge skills, so the 16 knowledge skills have not be picked to represent that. Hobo with a shotgun (hence the roomsweeper) just felt fun for this guy, especially coupled with amnesia.

Agreed. This looks like a 'training wheels' edition, that you can use to introduce someone to the setting, and then shift over to something like 5E or 4E. Like how D&D 5E is best used as training wheels for D&D 3.X.

Turned in Toxshaman for ¥1 million/4 once.

Summoning wants to be 6. So does Binding.

Eh I am generally down on combat spells this edition versus debuffs. Turn by turn drain is annoying and in directs don't really benefit from reagents. Did you think about Witness My Hate though?

I will say that I like the build but it also highlights the problems trolls have in normal prio AND sum to 10. Sure there are costs but the benefits just don't outweigh the drawbacks usually.

I did, but I want to raise intuition as high as I could, so that sucked a chunk of my karma, so Witness my Hate will have to be post character gen. Summoning and Ritual Spell casting was what I used with my 2 free skill 5 from magic A. I do plan (if he is ever used) to get a power focus pretty soon as well as another sustaining focus (for debuffs spells). The other issue he has with using debuff spells, is he will be sustaining 2 spells currently agility and increased reflexes, so until I get another sustaining focus, I don't really want to cast those much yet. One thing I do like about him, is the max edge, which helps counter some of his issues.

I would skip the exceptional attribute and go with INT 5 WIL 5- same drain pool but 1 higher stun monitor.

Heck..if you really want 6 INT for 2 karma go with Minotaur- you get a BOD 6 min on top of it.

Hmm, I will check it out. I like the increase to Stun track, probably more than the loss to defense pool and I initiative modifier. Which then also frees up enough karma for WMH.

So the great thing about WMH is that direct combat spells don't involve spell Force in their damage calculations (unlike indirects), so you can very easily take it as limited with some kind of fetish, cast at low (or even medium Force, with a fetish) and deal with a measly 3 Drain, while using Reagents (or pre-Edging, with high Edge) to set the Limit and do a lot of damage. Works even better when you can afford a R4+ power focus.

I knew of the benefits of WMH/reagents.

Other news, in a day or so I will have the Minotaur version posted. I think overall it will be a stronger build in the long run.
