It seems to me you are trying to do too much with too little.
You want to be a Sasquatch and Rigger.. great..
However, you also seem to want to have a great physical combat ability (Wired Reflexes and Longarms 6).
Meanwhile you have terrible stats including Agility which is the basis for many of the skills you chose.
You also took Jack of All Trades which is great, but you bought a bunch of 1 point skills at char gen and JOT doesn't help you during char gen.
Not only that but most of them have horrible pools anyway. How are you going to use a 3 disguise as a Sasquatch?

So.. IMO.. you should dump the Wired Reflexes and the massive gun skill, instead relying on your gunnery and drones.
Dump most of those 1 point skills.
Use that extra Karma to up your stats.

And I gotta agree.. Uneducated with an education is a bit silly.
Nothing is foolproof. Fools are so ingenious.

Hey kiirnodel,

Are you SURE about the 0 magic rating and its effects on the dual-natured?

I am not sure where I read it (and could be remembering old editions too), but if a dual-natured critter ever gets a 0 magic rating, they die. Horribly.

As I recall, this was because the 'magic' part of their DNA requires it, and without it they die.

Now, I freely admit I am mostly remembering from Bug City and the collapse of the ghoul population from FAB3 eating their MR..... just can't remember where (or IF) I read that for 5e as well.... (I think under vamps and ghouls?)

Positive. Run Faster, Creating a Metavariant Character, last sentence.
"If a character’s Magic is reduced to 0 through Essence loss, they cannot use any abilities tied to Magic per the rules on p. 278, SR5."

That second is specifically about the Metasapients too, particularly since it is the Metasapients that have the innate Magic score, not the plain metavariants. So any critter powers that tie into Magic would go away, but they would survive. It would probably be weird for them, RP-wise, since they would lose an entire sense that they used to have. Plus some other powers to boot.

And I gotta agree.. Uneducated with an education is a bit silly.

To be honest, I was surprised all of the "Educated" qualities didn't specify that they were incompatible with Uneducated. Sort of like how Blandness is incompatible with Distinctive Style.

Thanks.

I was sure that was the case (dying when magic hit 0), but it seems to not have made the editions up.
Where am I going? And why am I in a hand basket ???

Remember: You can't fix Stupid. But you can beat on it with a 2x4 until it smartens up! Or dies.

this character does have far more serious problems than "dual-natured + no unarmed".
