Hi!

My gaming group can be very interested in Anarchy... Any in depth hints about it? How did they handled the system? Is it fully compatible with the basi rulebook?

Thanks!

Hi! Thanks!

I read that and another review and I don't know if it's for me. :) I like narrative approaches but the "all of us can be gm" is indie in a bad way to my taste...

It can sound a bit dumb, but I think Shadowrun's 5th ed inner complexity is just a part of the deal. It's the price to pay to get the awesome/fascinating game it is.

IMHO

I like what I've read so far, but I reserve judgment until I've actually played it :)

Narrative play isn't for everyone.

But it's its a good attempt to give those that like narrative play a taste of shadowrun.

And lets be honest, Shadowrun is a very complex game that frightens away some players due to its complexity. anarchy could be a good stepping stone to get them introduced to Shadowrun.
Where am I going? And why am I in a hand basket ???

Remember: You can't fix Stupid. But you can beat on it with a 2x4 until it smartens up! Or dies.

Shadowrun Anarchy doesn't have to be Narrative play. It contains rules to support non narrative play.

Yeah, I tried this format recently in a game using the same system and I had no fun whatsoever.  It was like playing Mad Libs the RPG.  Blech.

Shadowrun Anarchy doesn't have to be Narrative play. It contains rules to support non narrative play.

I'd have to see how that works before I commit funds to this.  That's my two cents anyway.
