Hi. I'm making up a character to toss into the ring for play-by-post/bulletin board play.
She is an adept following the ferret spirit. Right now I am working on tweaking out skills and thinking of what she needs. Main attacks are going to be pistols/automatics possibly w/Firefight Martial Art. I have a few concerns.
The first is would Astral Perception be worth it for her? She has 3 charisma and 3 willpower so it isn't her specialty. Still being able to see Astral is a plus.
The second is having enough points for skills. I originally started off with the idea of running with a PC that had maxed out edge. I need to give her enough skills to be useful. After Attributes and qualities she has 120 points for skills/gear/contacts.
Looking for advice.

She's known as being a Saeder-Krupp schill. Haveing worked with the corp steadilly in the past. However, her contact with the corp was killed in a hit at which she was present and subsequent contacts have dried up. It wasn't her fault but she still takes much of the blame. She didn't know the sniper was there.
