Technomancer: Please review

First character and I've had limited time to read the books, so this probably has major problems. I've been trying to work through reading some on the boards, and I need to hold down my GM and get an idea of how he's going to play the Matrix. There is a hacker in the group as well.

I would really like to go the route of riding around in a rig, and controlling drones, but I couldn't get my head around it, so I thought I'd push what I could and then get the GM to let me rebuild after being in the system for a session or two.

This character concept: Gang-banger orc that has some matrix skills that the drug runners find valuable. Over the course of working with them, he's gotten a little addicted to <drug of choice>, along with the matrix-addiction that is probably common-place for hackers and technomancers of all stripes. Looking to break out of the doldrums, picked up the choice pieces that he's been saving up, along with his secret stash, and is looking to head out and run the shadows.

I'm pasting out of Excel, so this may look insane, and I vaguely started from the sample character in the book. I feel like there's a lot more gear that I should be taking and that there should be some way to build a drone master. I couldn't find a good starting point for that though. That, and I'd need hints on how the hell to work within the SR system. I've been role-playing for many a year, though primarily DD4 lately, because we wanted to try the system when it first came out. The complexity of just generating a freakin character is absurd. I don't remember SR3 being this complex when I played in the 90's. That was when I was in college. Anyway, I digress...

Thanks, Umaro, that definitely helps. Will start a new thread with a suggested Dronomancer build. Still interested in people's thoughts on this basic Technomancer, and any suggestions on how to play and work a Technomancer.
