I've seen several people on the board speak about mages/riggers.
I've tried to build one, but I can't fit everything that I seem to need. Can someone help me with this kind of character?
I was thinking of going the Possession way, as a mean to reinforce my drones with possessing spirits (or even use spirits as cheap Machine Sprites). Using Mystic Adept seemed a good choice (as Gunnery is a vehicle skill, and it's cheaper to use Increase Ability than a combat skill)
Don't need a full build, but only some clues on how to do that, it would be really helpful.

I don't think there is a good way to mix all this.
Spirits are actually expensive machine sprites. Registering doesn't cost money, binding spirits is unreasonable expensive.
And as a mystic adept splitting magic between essence loss, adept powers and spells will be very inefficient in all three areas.

I think it's doable, but tricky.

I would actually steer clear of possession. The reason is that it's both difficult and expensive to possess drones (because of their high OR), and only very high force spirits benefit from possessing vehicles.

I think you can make it work, but I would be inclined to base it around Command (jumping in is both expensive and requires cyberware to be most effective) and/or autonomous drones. On the magic side, I'd be inclined to focus on useful Sustainable spells - the idea being that you use Sustained spells to buff spirits/drones/teammates, and then work remotely. One thing RC riggers do very well is get big dice pools, so the -2 per spell penalty isn't as significant.

Also, using high-rated Pilots means you can control a stable of drones, and none of THEM take the Sustaining penalty at all.

anyone can have a drone its not just for riggers as long as the pilot is good enough they can be pretty autonomous.  Riggers get the advantage that they can dive into the drone for direct control and bigger dice pools for actions.
