Any tips for running a game?

Listen to your players, and match the tone of your game to what you hear. What you want to run is important, yes, but not as important as what your players want to play.

In essence, if they want to run a Pink Mohawk campaign don't go forcing them to play Sam Fisher style stealth missions, or vice versa.

Also, you have to find the "Mama Bear" for Karma and Nuyen rewards. Being too stingy with them can make the players feel stifled, while being too generous can result in massive power ramping and a short campaign.

Be fair, be patient and keep things moving. If you do those three things well you will stay afloat long enough to learn your group.
