Hello,  just about every RPG has that Iconic, Epic campaign that defines the game world and the genre.   The Enemy Within for WFRP, The Temple of Elemental Evil for AD&D,  The Maskes of Nyarlathotep for Call of Cthulhu Etc.

Does Shadowrun have an Iconic/ Epic Campaign?  If so what is it?

Thanks

There's been a few epic SR campaigns. Harlequin, Harlequin's Back, Missing Blood, Bug City, Renraku Arcology: Shutdown, Brainscan, and System Failure could all qualify, IMO. In 4th, there hasn't been much in the way of gamechanging campaigns, as they tend to get spread over multiple books now. But Emergence for me is a good example. Suddenly, the whole world goes batshit crazy.

Artifacts Unbound can be pretty epic. Especially considering that many of the NPCs' karma could be measured in the many hundreds. And that's not even counting the IEs and (great) dragons.
