Maybe 150 to 200 pounds, I'd say.

Isn't that TALON small sized drone? Doberman is medium sized. I'd say that Aztechnology Crawler is about the size of the thing you presented.

I would guess its more, medium drones (theoretically) can lug around some pretty heavy equipment, like troll sized rigger cocoons (though I have to say, thats kinda pushing it), so I'd say about the size and weight of a moped or light scooter is probably more realistic. My guess is close to 200 pounds.

My snow blower is the size of a small drone if you discount the handlebar.

It's also damn heavy. Takes two people to lift it into the back of a pickup truck.

Yeah, the TALON is probably small.

A motorcycle is around 300lbs, but varies wildly. A late-model Harley Fatboy is like 700lbs.

A drone would be made as light as possible, using advanced materials, but that would be limited by armor and weapons (which are gonna be heavier than normal materials) and cost (lighter = more expensive).

So, yeah...in short...that's a tough one. :P

Maybe we can find a larger current-tech drone than the TALON. Maybe the Big Dog? But it walks, not on tracks...*mutter*...*mutter* *mutter*....

isnt there any kind of mass calculation in rules? like body * x kg? I recall seeing something like that, but maybe it was in different edition or some fan source :P

Is it wrong that I really want to find that?

I don't even have any drones.

well IMO there are some average weights for metas, not anything for drones and vehicles. Not that it really matters in that specific situation, well I feel 200 KG for dog drone is quite to omuch, dog itself would be something about 70 KGs and it is not build from hitech plastics, ceramics and alloys...

yes but all the armor is made from high density materials witch in fact have to be heavy. so the whole structure must be able to support it, i would say net less them 150 Kg for the drones. 200 might be a bit much thogh

They had weights and cargo capacitiea in previous editions of Shadowrun, but all those were dropped as part of the "streamlining" efforts in 4th edition.
