>>Visto bueno, i won't go in then.<< Gibbon left the building shortly thereafter and checked the right side of the building from outside for anything unusual.
Perception to notice anything:
INT(5) + Perception(2) + Attention coprocessor(3) + Enhancers(3) + Looking(3)

During that he got back to the topic of porter. >>Don't know if we can get our hands on a good quality SIN in the following hours but getting the job might not be a bad idea. Problem is i probably stand out too much so someone else would have to take it, then get the chief of staff hand him the shift during which we are planning to make our move.<< Giving some thought he added >>At a first glance, i think only Kitten and Cookie would be able to pull this stunt. Or maybe just Cookie, 'cuz the first thorough astral check might tell them Kitten is a mage, and it would be very suspicious why she looks for this crap work with her talents. Kitten, tell me if you can somehow disguise this fact.<<

@all: That would still be a problem, one look at me on the astral and all they will see is one whose "eye" is "open" to magic, how me and Kitten tap into and use it is another matter, although highly skilled practitioners have  a lot more tricks up their sleeve I hear.

The back of the building and the right hand side show more in the way of horrible entrances, the right hand side is covered in windows all the way up and the sculptures make sneaking around the garden possible, scaling the wall is possible as there isn't much outside security, just a couple cameras. The entrance for the trucks leads down into the basement level with the entrance marked as Porters only, there is a camera but that's all for physical security.

Evangeline talks happily and enthusiastically about the displays until you two reach the 5th floor. "Ah this ones not doing so well.. we've been called in to cover the night shift when it's taken down at the end of the week..." This matches up with the timeline the Johnson gave you.

The teams best guess with the vents is some kind of access hatch, but none of you have high enough so far to know.

After leaving the museum, Gibbon sent a message to the team. >>So, I’m really surprised none of us brought up shares yet. I think we should discuss that in person. What do you say we meet in Tahia’s Embrace, that’s a relatively no-name Indian restaurant in Renton with warren-like small rooms and a high background noise. Perfect place for a little private chat.<<

"Taken down? What happens to all these things then?! And these are, like, important things for metahumanity, no?! They can't just throw them away or stuff them in some dark room! Is that what they do? And will they just be closing a floor of the museum? Are they downsizing because of budget cuts, because she's got some FaceSpace friends who got laid off because of that and they say it's happening everywhere."... and other silly questions to find out what will happen those days.

Silk continued chatting with Evangeline for the remainder of her lunch break, then at the end suddenly notices the time and remember she's completely missed she was supposed to meet her boss twenty minutes ago. "Wow, time sure goes fast when having such a good time hearing about all these amazing things."
She'll rush off without even the chance of a real goodbye, mildly distressed about being late. Always leave them wanting for more.
In her hurry, Silk will forget her glasses. She'll pick 'em up the next day around lunch time, with an extra SoyCaf for Evangeline "You know... if you got the time..." *blush*
That should give the Ork a whole day to regret not really taking a proper goodbye and daydreaming about what-if's.

Quote from: OOC
Someone please remind me to ask the guard about her own safety and such to find out how trained and/or augmented the staff is, if I forget myself... Or tell Silk about other stuff that needs to be asked. She'll share what she's learned when she gets out of the museum.

"Sure, I'll be there," Kitten said. It had been a while since she had Indian food.
"I'm also going to start to put an application together for that job," she said, "they will probably need someone quite quickly if they're going to redo part of their museum.  As for the magic thing, I can always pretend to be an adept who got sick of fighting and who just wants a nice, simple job.  I should be able to pull that off.  It's impossible to see the difference with astral vision."

Something caused Cookie to pause in mid-thought when he saw the fighting comment .
Well everyone I suppose has their opinion, you just have no idea what I'm sick of "fighting" or do  you ...but if you think you can do this...
Shaking his head at the thought, he sent back a reply
@all: Exactly, the worst they can do in this case is refuse you the job I suppose, I may as well fill out an application as well,  I'm not letting one person take all the risk, I'll see people at the Indian as well.

With two positive responses, Gibbon was mostly sure the others would also accept so he called the restaurant and reserved a table for six from 6PM, in one of the more secluded rooms. He was still worried a bit about Silks reaction but he brushed the thought aside - he'd cross that river when he got there.

After leaving at the museum, Kitten had gone home for two things.  First of all to put everything she had seen at the museum in order, plus to edit some of the footage she had taken to add tactical data.  It was something she was used to do when she was part of the scout platoon with the Marauders, and it helped to organise her thoughts.

Second she completed the application, although she didn't send it yet.  That she first had to discuss with the rest of the group.  Since she had indeed done some logistics as part of her military duties, she could consider that experience.  Making sure the right thing was at the right place on the right time meant you had to be careful when storing and packing it.

She made sure she arrived a bit before six at the restaurant.

Well before six, Gibbon sent a message to the team. >>Table reserved for 6PM, under the name Escobar.<<

The Tahia’ Embrace was located in an older residential building that obviously needed some renovation. The back of the ground floor was occupied by the restaurant, with the entrance opening directly on the street.
Strong smells, of cooking and spices and tobacco, and the noise of chatter in an unknown language greeted those entering. Opposed to what could be seen outside, the inside was well-maintained and mostly clean. The entrance room was the biggest, several doorframes leading to other rooms, and a big swing-door separating the kitchen. Near one of the doorframes there was a small counter for checking in. Next to it, Gibbon was speaking to a small, plump human woman, obviously of Indian descent, in rapid Hindi.

When the dwarf noticed Kitten entering, he finished the conversation shortly, though not impolitely, he then greeted the magician. “Hey, glad you could make it. We got lucky, we have one of the rooms completely to ourselves. Come, I’ll show you.” With that, he stepped through one of the doorframes, checking if Kitten followed.
They went through a series of interlocking rooms – the place was a warren –, some accommodating three or four tables, some only one, most of the tables occupied. Gibbon led Kitten to one of the one-table rooms, which only had two entrances that could be closed by curtains. The floor was covered by thick carpets, and brightly colored cushions were scattered around the low table. A big hookah was in one of the corners.

After reading the last message from Gibbon, Cookie had taken his time filling out the floor plan with notes and getting the application filled in before he left, he was aiming to get there around 6:10pm, part of him hoped that the meeting went ahead with no problems, in the back of his mind the phrase except when you mix money and runners... went through his mind as he stepped out the door of his dingy apartment, on top of which he was already running late, as an after thought he stepped back inside to grab both his weapons before leaving.

"Nice spot," Kitten said to Gibbon, "let me get a bit of astral guards before the others show up."
She turned away and started talking in a language Gibbon didn't understand.

"Oh Mighty Shu, god of air, please hear my plea. Please sent me one of your servants as an aid against the wicked ones."

Nothing appeared except a headache.  Strange, she thought, but sometimes it happened.
"Nothing," she said to Gibbon, "probably Shu needs his servants himself at the moment.  Well, there's always plan B then."

@Ren; I'm going with the fact that Gibbon doesn't understand 4th dynasty Egyptian.  If you do,

Summoning force 5 spirit of air.
magic 5 + conjuring 2 =7 (7d6.hits(5)=1)
spirit counter roll:
force 5 (5d6.hits(5)=2)

no spirit shows up, drain 4 (2x hits)
intuition 5 + willpower 4 =9 (9d6.hits(5)=3)
1S damage.

As there's no spirit, I'll just declare counterspelling for all the group, as soon as a person enters, I'll include him or her.  I have to declare this up front, so hereby.

Silk casually walked into the restaurant, searched for her team members and sat down on the soft pillows, easily assuming the lotus position.
"Hi guys! Nice place you picked out, Gibbon.", she said cheerfully.
"So... what's this meeting about?"

Gibbon smiled widely as Silk greeted them. Wow, both of them like it. “Well, besides eating a good dinner, I wanted to discuss how we should divide the pay from the job. It might be evident to you, but I’m not used to working here in the city yet and there were some jobs in which there were differences in methods. And seeing you and Andromeda know each other from before, you might just have some working method which you want to apply here.
“Anyway, I suggest we wait for the others as this must be a question of interest for them as much as it is for me. In the meantime, we should enjoy what the place can offer. They have an awesome curry, though I’d say it is a bit too spicy if you’re not used to the cuisine.”
The mischievous tone of the dwarf’s voice suggested that what he said about the spicy curry might be an understatement.

"Hm... So you're suggesting negotiations?" Silks smile as she asked the question was radiant enough to light a medium-sized country.
She made a mock straight face. "Because, you know... I'm sure we can work something out."
