OK then, considering everything you wrote, final Karma awards are as follows:
Csjarrat – 12 karma (Burning Edge to come out winning in a situation at gunpoint was an impressive move, and how the others’ actions almost rendered it ineffective made it more dramatic; this earned two extra karma points. I also liked how you pushed the story forward.)
Gustovness – 11 karma (People were impressed about the in-char dialogues, I think that was an extra that provided color in our game; this earned the extra karma point. Taking some sample from one of the bodies with you was also a smart move.)
Farothel – 10 karma (The moment where you slammed the door in the face of the KE officer turning towards you, was the most “normal” move in the game, something a “normal” person would do; I liked it.)
MaxKojote – 10 karma (I liked the self-irony of a specialized magic-user expressed in your character’s thoughts.)
All considered, I think everybody did well in the first run, all of you contributed, and I’m looking forward to continuing. Just a pointer:
- If you feel that in a situation, your character has more matching talent than the one currently in the front line, feel free to take the course of conversation over. Like that time, negotiating with the ork and his gang. I usually won’t consider the first failed test an utter failure (unless it is a glitch), and you will have the opportunity to improve the situation if you provide further details in the course of actions. This way, even if I ask someone to make a test his character is not good in, you can help each other out.
Please don’t spend karma yet, the first few actions of the downtime will probably happen before you have the opportunity. You will have the opportunity to improve two skills or a skill group at the same time, improving abilities do not count against this limit.
