With SR5 out now, and no starter "Stuffer Shack" adventure in the Core book - any advice for the first one or three adventures to run the kids through?  These would be new characters (old players).

Thanks in advance.

The free SR5 Quick Start Rules have a short mission for introducing up to 4 players to combat. I'm sure it can be modified for more PCs.

Ah... I had downloaded the QSR - but not read through it.  Busy reading the actual core rulebook.  :)  Thanks for the heads-up, I see it now.

Good to know about Sprawl Wilds.  It's in my cart at DriveThru.   Thanks!

If you do grab Sprawl Wilds, my guess is Humanitarian Aid is out of a starting league. The other three likely work fine.

I'm guessing Humanitarian Aid is the name of the 4th mission.  The first 3 worked well with a starting party.   (Haven't played the 4th.)

However, I will state that for starting characters, they will be outclassed in the combats, so proper planning is very necessary.  The enemies will have the numbers, bigger guns, and are faster and aim better.  We used drones as a crutch in mission 1 and 2 from Sprawl Wilds (losing a bunch of drones in the process.)  Not sure how those combats would have gone otherwise.  We didn't have drones in mission 3, and although that was probably the easiest fight by design, it was by far the hardest for us due to not having as many guns around laying down suppressive fire.
