As Yaibei was making his way back towards the shop after he gets out of the immediate area he puts his robes back on to cover the camo suit in a dark empty corner away from and cameras. Then makes his way back in a semi quick route to the shop. <on my way>

Fischer noted Kuren's reaction, *Little to no reaction, but that isn't all that surprising. You practically have to blow these people up to get them to drop their facade of politeness.* H shrugged at Kuren's question, "I'm fluent in the language and it's one of the last places people would look for me." He backtracked for a few blocks, "I'm not lost in the slightest, just obfuscating our trail. You can never be too careful, especially when the cops might be looking for you. So where'd you learn your skill set?"

[Lumen]

"Oh I see, very clever.  I had not been paying attention to your route, a side effect of too many taxi rides I suppose.  As for my skill set that's a long story I would rather not discuss at length.  The short answer is I have always had a fascination with detective fiction."

Kuren pulls a book from his trench coat pocket and holds it up, "Ever since I was a child I have emulated the detectives and developed the skills, and you.  How does one get in to the exciting world of high explosives?"

*Hopefully that was enough to make hime drop the issue.  I have to give him credit he's clever.  I'm not sure if that's good or just deadly.*

[Necrogigas]

*Being a private eye, I figured he'd be a little more opaque than simply being vague and deflecting the question back at me. I guess he won't be an interesting target after all.* Fischer figured he wasn't going to get much more out of the back and forth banter, and began taking a more direct route to the noodle shop, "You can find any kind of information on the Matrix, or in the Shadows, if you look in the right places."

[Lumen]

"I am fully aware of many ways to find information.   I meant more specifically how did you get started or should I save my breath?"

*He must really take me for a fool.  The answers I seek never stay hidden long.  I just hope it doesn't interrupt the investigation when he's incarcerated for suspected terrorist activity. *

[Necrogigas]

Images of his parents flashed through Fischer's mind, but he only shrugged once again, "Kind of just fell into it really. Being SINless, you have to get creative with how you make a living. Skills with small talent pools and high demand make you good money. So I got my hands on a copy of The Neo-Anarchist's Cookbook, and the rest, as they say, is history."

[Chrona]

When they arrived back at the noodle shop J was glad to not have to worry about the Mets asking to see his SIN, he might not be a Criminal SINner but he didn't want to be treated as a vagrant. He was working, in his own way.
"Ah Smiley.. do you er... know much about guns?"

[Lumen]

Kuren nods but doesn't break the silence left after Pipebomb's response.  He sits quietly and watches the pass as they drive.

[Crossbow]

"I was trained to use them, but I never really took to it.  I prefer to work with my hands.  Why do you ask?" Smiley eases off the bike and gives a stretch, perfectly casual about the situation.  He goes into the shop and orders, then claims a table large enough for the group.

[Chrona]

"Well combat magic isn't really my thing and this sword is mostly for show, it helps to look armed when you're living rough, awakened or not... an I never had my chance to get trained in firearms. You pointing out my over cautiousness made me realize I feel particularly unsafe running, now that the adrenaline died down... um not that anything has got me worried or anything."
Taking his seat next to Smiley he thought back to the anger he saw in pipebombs soul and shuddered involuntarily.

[HydroRaven]

You all start trickling to the noodle shop in groups. The last person to arrive, Yaibei, gets there around 12:40. You soon realize that the last few patrons have left to catch their last train, but it's still too early to find the night crowd: the one that stays out until dawn, getting noodles after a long night of drinking and socializing.

[Chrona]

"Hoi Yaibei-san, took you a while... So where do we go to next? I heard mention of her living with someone while i was dipping in and out of my meat?"

[Necrogigas]

"A contact of mine did a bit of digging on the victim. He couldn't find anything substantial, but did say that her trail splits between and ends at both the Metropolitan Government and Renraku. It isn't much but it gives us something to look into."

[Lumen]

Kuren holds up his briefcase with a big smile, *Great success! "

Over the secure connection he sends the team a full list of the prints and samples he was able to retrieve.  "I will have to run tests to analyze it but I'm optimistic.  I'll have the results by morning.  What were you all able to discover? "

"yo, sorry about that. Renarku? he spits when he says the name"I am sure renraku is behind this. I should have guessed from the start.
