Your taxi drops you off in front of the club where you were yesterday night. The place looks completely different in the light of day. It seems sunlight has a way of sobering things up in a way nothing else can. Although the place is clean and ready for tonight, the feeling is just not the same with an empty dance floor.

You go through the usual security hoopla though and are quickly led to the "kitchen" area where someone is waiting with what seems an almost brand-new commlink for you. After a few words, you take the piece of equipment carefully and are already outside in a very narrow alleyway.

After hearing the door shut behind them Kuren smiles at J and gives him a thumbs up, "Yatta!  Follow me J-san and we'll give this com a twice over."  He heads out back on to the street leaning lightly on his cane.  He can't help but check the many news feeds he's subscribed to on the way to on the way to the subway.  Kuren pays for J's fare without him even asking and he leads them back to HQ so they can inspect the com in private.

"Oh Kuren-san, are we going to your place? T-Thank you!" He was surprised to be being taken to a teammates place, whether their home or not, so soon. "I do hope we can find something.. Ah I do not think I will try summoning such a strong spirit again though."

Smiley sends a text to Max, his fixer:

<Max- Need a rental on a roof and a ride, no frills on either, for, say 72 hours.  Roof needs to be lacking in questions and with neighbors that mind their own business, prefer a vehicle entrance.  Ride for 6 plus cargo, needs a decent Pilot rating.>

Kuren smiles,  "We are going to my headquarters so I can thoroughly inspect the com.  You should not strain yourself,  reason and logic shall prevail.  One way or another I believe we will find something. "

After a few minutes, you get an answer on your commlink.

"No questions is going to cost you money. Give me an hour and I'll get back to you."

Smiley will head for Jodie's, picking up breakfast for two on the way, to wait for the call back from his fixer.

At around 10:35, you get a message on your link:

"Found you a place and a ride. The place is yours for 48 hours but it's ¥75 up front plus any damages. The ride is an older 7 seater and for ¥50 plus damages it's yours for 72 hours. I'll forward you the addresses and the codes when you send me the money."

One back to HQ Kuren takes the com back to the lab but will allow J to check it astrally before trying to hack through its defenses.

Smiley will tranfer the funds and then, upon receiving the address, tranmit it to the team requesting they meet him there to compare notes.  He will proceed to the location, and after taking stock of what is available, make sure the place has some minimal supples for the task of concealing, restraining and interrogating Makato, as well as a few minimal but necessary creature comforts: food, water, soap, towels, chairs, liquor, not necessarily in that order.

You get an address almost instantly after you transfer the funds and make your way across town to it. You arrive to one of the less glamorous parts of Neo-Tokyo, where some of the buildings have been abandoned. Nonetheless, certain people still live in the area, paying rent and still (somewhat) maintaining their living quarters.

The apartment you are given is on the first floor of an older building. The codes that were transfered to you open the maglock into a small, minimally kept room that has both a kitchen area, a futon and an older Trideo in one corner. A small door in the corner reveals a toilet, but no shower. It doesn't take you long to make an inventory of the place and find everything you need except for food and liquor.

You get back to HQ and set yourselves up. J dives into the Astral while Kuren makes the final preparations for a proper Matrix investigation.

A look at the commlink reveals a few auras, 5 in fact, some stronger than others, but none of them are the aura you felt yesterday. One of the auras you quickly recognize as your Johnson.

After reading Smiley's message, Fischer made his way to the address given. He told the ork, "Smiley found us a place to interrogate the woman."

Yaibei, looking up from his commlink, answers "Good. I have to go though, some other matter to attend to though. If you can just leave me here, I'll find my way to the closest station" and quickly gets out of the van as soon as you stop. You continue on by yourself to the address where you find a spot in a paid parking lot not far from the building.
