Kuren takes out a handkerchief and walks over to the girl.  As he wipes the tears from her face he calmly and warmly says, "Calm down dear it's going to be alright.  We just have a few questions.  Can you be brave and answer our questions?"

It takes a few moments for Makoto to get a grip but she answers, confused, "Why am I here? What did I do?"

"Pay attention joygirl!  I said you were safe, that is ALL you need to know.  As for what you did, well that remains to be seen, for starters you made a scene and gave us trouble we don't need, you start talking maybe we forget about that."  Smiley is keeping the menace in his voice, but keeping the volume low.

[HydroRaven]

"I'll tell you everything I know, just don't hurt me" answers Makoto, still visibly scared. "I just work for them, so I don't know much though. But I'll tell you everything I know if you don't hurt me."

[Lumen]

Kuren mentally messages Smiley,  <Keep going she seems to be responding well.  Make sure to ask her about the victim's antique camera and comlink.  The one found with the body was purchased post mortem. >

[Chrona]

"Well I do not really have a problem with you doing it... Just that I hope this isn't spiraling out of control.. especially if she is who you just said she might be.."

Once Makoto wakes up, "Sure It would be pretty eas-" but is cut off by Smileys shooing. If kuren still wants a make over he will whip up a physical mask for him by tapping him on the shoulder.
"I don't smoke but thanks." He heads outside the door with Pipebomb anyway, not much use in an interrogation right now.

Force 4 Physical Mask on Kuren if he still wants it, will make him look like a tall, pale skinned human, still ob Japanese descent but not of the same features as kuren. DV is 3 (15d6.hits(5)=4, 9d6.hits(5)=3) No drain

Kuren willingly accepts the masking spell and bows to J in a silent 'Arigato.'

[Necrogigas]

Fischer took care to make as little noise as possible as he exited. Once outside he lit up and exhaled heavily, "You ever work a run involving dead exes and kids before? Cause this is probably gonna get real messy, real quick. Hell, that's probably the whole reason I'm here. Once we figure out who killed the woman, I'm betting I'm the one that's gonna be returning the favor."

Smiley gives a head shake to Kuren, waving  off the suggestion, it was just too early for that detail, and the investigator didn't know what Makato's job was.

"I am not talking about your fraggin' pimps girl!  I told you we were looking into your mother's death, get your head straight and tell us about her!"

Makoto pauses, thinking for a moment before saying "I'll tell you anything you want, just don't hurt me."

[Chrona]

"No I haven't but i certainly cannot argue with your train of thought."

[Necrogigas]

Fischer looked J straight in the eyes with a dead(ly) serious look, "Right, so how new to the Shadows are you? Like I said, this run is gonna get dirty fast. I need to know you can handle it. If you fold at the wrong moment, we're all dead."

"As new as I can be I guess. I wont fold. There isn't anything I can do to prove that to you though." J stretched his arms up behind his head then put them back at his sides.

Smiley motions for Kuren to come in and play good cop.

He mouths the words MOM and MOTHER to him

Kuren nods and speaks up in a calm and warming voice, "Tell us about your mother, Makato, and please be thorough the sooner our questions are answered the sooner we can get you cleaned up and back home safely."
