"Now, you can't just take our girls and hurt them like that, that's bad for business. You have to take responsibility for your actions" says the leader. He waits a moment before continuing "What will you do to make it up to us?"

"She is not hurt, and she will stay that way, she will also be well compensated for her time.  We have some questions that need answered, and she has those answers."

"We don't like the way you're asking your questions, gaijin" answers one of the thugs. The leader raises his hand, a sign that the thug should let him talk. He continues with "She won't be answering your questions, not now, not ever. You need to come with us, you have to make this situation right." While talking, the two grunts closest to Makoto pick her up and start carrying her away.

Yaibei looks at Smiley and asks him in a low voice "They're taking her away, do you want me to stop them?"

Yaibei's question answers itself as Smiley moves on the now-encumbered thugs.

"Oh Fuck!!" As soon as Smiley pulls away from Mia's back she drops back a step to stay close to Yaibei and Smiley and lets the mojo flow thru her viens.

Smiley sweeps one of the two grunts taking Makoto away and sends him flying a few feet away to the sound of cracking bones. Yaibei, seeing Smiley's action, moves on the second grunt and, pulling a small blade out of nowhere, stabs the second grunt closest to Makoto with it. A crimson stream spills out onto the street, the victim clutching his side as the woman's limp body hits the pavement. One of the henchmen that were closer to Mia moves on Smiley, taking a stun baton to him.

Mia starts singing while another of the henchmen pulls out a blade and goes for her. The last grunt makes an attempt on Yaibei, pulling out a blade as well, but Yaibei easily dodges it. The leader takes out a taser and shoots at Mia, but in the commotion misses wide.

Smiley smoothly parries the arm carrying the stun baton, using it as a pivot point to Sweep this thug as well, delivering an crushing elbow into his chest to increase the punishment.

Yaibei turns around and sets his aims on the grunt closest to him. With a flick of the wrist, he cuts the man on his forearm, causing him to drop his knife to the ground in a pool of blood.

Mia spins like a startled cat, eyes wide and teeth bared. She feels the world slow to a crawl, everything moving with exagerated slowness, and moves to keep that balde at bay. As the beat drives on, a lyric plays in her ears and she screams like a banshee...

"CUT OFF HIS HEAD"

Mia points at the leader of the pack as the wieght of her words tears from her lungs like the shockwave from a wall of sound!

Mia is using commanding voice on the grunts, ignoring the leader (her target) and those that are downed (on the ground and stabbed). She uses voice control to mimic the sound of the leaders voice (don't know if that would add extra dice but it seems logical to tap at there insticitive nature. will just leave it as the cha+leadership roll

The two grunts suddenly freeze after Mia's scream. They both seem to be under the effect of something, and Smiley uses that confusion to hit the one closest to him and sending him flying across the pavement. The leader of the gang, seeing his team getting decimated so quickly, backs away and tells the others to retreat. "You better remember me" says the man as he flees the scene, everyone running away. You quickly notice the street has completely emptied, everyone running away from the commotion.

Smiley moves to grab Makato again, "Mia, can you whip up a stronger spirit?" he says as he hoists the girl over his shoulder and starts to jog to where he instructed Pipebomb to meet them.
