Hi all-

My gaming group of several years (D&D & Traveler mostly) has decided to start playing Shadowrun 5th.  We played through the quickstart scenario using rules from the PDF.  It was a learning experience as we made a lot of mistakes, but I think we're good to go going forward.

I know the SR5 adventures aren't out yet, but can anyone recommend a relatively concise adventure to run for newbies?  Would the Sprawl Wilds book be worth picking up for this purpose?

Thanks!

Sprawl Wilds and Firing Line are both collections of short adventures originally written for conventions so they should take about 4 hours a piece.

By the way, they all got Pushing the Envelope parts, where a GM can expand on them to make them longer for homegames (potentially splitting them over 2 sessions).
How am I not part of the forum?? O_O I am both active and angry!

I dont know about firing line but i wouldnt recommend Sprawl wilds. Im not saying is bad, i bought it and like it but its a little off a common shadowrun as they take the runners outside cities. One mission would be way better if done after completing Copy Cat killer and on a Silver Platter.

I would do recommend Season 4: Back in business. Its short, its nice and it gives you a mini intro to seatle. To use in on 5th search for the weapons equivalents in 5th and set the limits for the NPCs, im running the whole season 4 that way on 5th

Or you could always make a deal with a dragon.
