Slicer MD boots your Commlink's sat-nav suite up, grabbing a fix and popping up another notification about roaming charges.
Dunk opens the throttle and eases the old junker off its resting spot, half on the pavement and half on the road.
Within a minute of pulling off, Dunk looks in the rear view camera a couple of times before spinning round to look through the rear windscreen.
"Friends of yours?"
You hear the blaring of a horn and the revving of a knackered sounding diesel engine behind you.

"For fuck sake... what now..."  Knives sticks his head up and looks out the back window.

"Fraid not mate.  I'm fresh out of friends.  Wait... are those the wankers from before?"  With a simple motion he draws his taser into his hand and watches the vehicle closely, keeping his head up just enough to see.

Well this could get bad. Mantis looks back at the vehicle fallowing them to see if he can get a good look at them and maybe estimate what trouble they might have.

Looking out the rear windscreen, you see the pickup truck from before, still three up in the cab and carrying passengers in the back.
They are swerving, tailgaiting, blaring their horn and signalling at you to pull over.

"Look alive lads!  If we don't do something about these sodding wankers soon we're gonna have an incident...  I'm really not in the mood to gut a half dozen slots.  Oy Mantis think you can sling some of your mojo at the driver?  I'm thinkin if you can distract him and I pop the front wheel should be enough to make em crash.  At the very least it should slow em down."

Knives zooms in to the front tires, the chances that a old junker like that in a shit town like this would have run flats was slim but you never know...  From his trouser leg he pulls one of his ceramic knives out and hefts it in his hand, getting reacquainted with the weight and feel of the blade.  Balance is the key to any good throw.

Mantis looks back to get an eye ball on the Driver Are you sure you want me to throw magic it will tip our hand that we where behind the spirit. Just a thought if you still want it I'll throw away. Mantis runs his brain trying to think what could do the job with out mage. Lets start with the popping of the tires that might do it without tipping our hand if not I'll try and get a back up plan in place.

"Yea good point mate.  Hopefully this should do it..."  Knives draws the mana into his body once again, kicking it into overdrive.   His eye locks on the front driver side tire, he takes a few seconds to ensure his aim is true.  Then in a flash, the knife is airborne.

The driver glares at you as you lean out the window, lining up your shot.
As you draw your arm back, he swings the pickup wildly to the left, throwing the passengers in the back about wildly

Full defense:

Your knife impacts smartly into the ground where the tire used to be, clanging and clattering down the road.
The occupants of the van draw their weapons, shouting and hollering at the driver to close the distance

Mantis watches as the knife misses the mark of the tire. Drak I was hoping for a chase stopping kaboom. I could try just using a combat based spell to pop the tire nothing like my new lightning bolt that will scream magic they might not notice that it was magic. Oh ya and if you keep tossing knife at the same time, if you got them it will cover the spell more. Mantis waits for knives to get another knife so he can cast a spell at the same time.

Seeing the swerving, weapon drawing mob behind him in the mirror, dunk opens the throttle, the ancient engine protesting loudly at the insult.
The noise was merely for show, the old Junker hardly accelerated at breakneck speed, but it caught he eye of the driver behind, urged on by the crew surrounding him.
He glares at Knives, seeming to have taken the knife throwing as a personal insult. He guns his more powerful engine, closing the gap to less then 10 metres.
